The American Blackbelly is a cross between the three
different sheep breeds, the Barbados Blackbelly, the Mouflon and the Rambouillet. This cross breeding produced different
shades of tans, browns and reds in their coat. This breeding choice also developed a variety of differnt horn types. These
magnificant horns make the American Blackbelly a prized animal among sportsman.
